Twinings started their journey with aromatic and intoxicating flavors, but it's also a wonderful story that began over three hundred years ago.

In the beginning, in 1706, Twinings was one of the first companies to introduce tea to the English. The founder of the House, Thomas Twining, begins selling his tea in a shop on the Strand in London, which is still open today.

The promise of Thomas Twining to imagine exceptional teas, for generations Twinings, contributes to making each tea tasting a true sensory experience.

A traditional product needs a traditional logo. At least, that seems to be the belief of Twinings Tea, which has had the same logo since the late 18th century. Famously known as the world’s oldest logo, Twinings features a simple wordmark. While design trends change, words do not. Perhaps that’s what makes Twining’s logo not only enduring but also timeless.

The royal logo and the British impact couldn’t be contained to the United Kingdom and spread beyond the island’s bounds. In 1910 Twinings opened its first shop in France, making its first international move. In 1933, they released their famous English Breakfast tea blend, which has become a classic staple.

Twinings have 1001 varieties!!!

Black teas for lovers of teas with character, Earl Gray teas for fans of bergamot, flavored teas for a gourmet break, and green teas for moments of lightness… A desire to savor a Darjeeling classic or a desire to discover exotic flavors? Twinings invests in the happiness of your taste buds and immerses you in a truly sensory experience by offering you a very rich and extensive range of teas and infusions.

Alongside their black tea, green tea, and white tea, they also are creating a wide range of flavored tea with Fruits. Yes, we've all been to the supermarket and seen peppermint or lemon and ginger. There are thousands of versions of these blends. But Twinings are experimental. They have mixed blackcurrant and rhubarb. Lime and ginger. Mango and strawberry. They have even used dragon fruit!

"The Twinings Tea Room opened in 1717 on the Strand in London.

It was the first tea room in the Western World to allow entry to women."
